My Favourite Brown Sprays

Hello Lindy’s Stamp Gang fans! It’s Marta TG here.

Today I would like to show you a special project I’ve created for you using sprays from Lindy’s Stamp Gang.

IMG_3507-vert

It’s an altered book’s cover, where I used Angel Wings Gold embossing powder and my favourite Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays:

I created this color chart to show you how different each of these colors and their shine are.

PicMonkey Collage1111tabela koloróWWWWWWWWWWW

These are my favourite brown sprays, I use them often to create a vintage look on my projects. When I was creating my cover, I started from the lightest color spray, it was Creme Brulee Cream.  It’s the most beautiful light beige with the golden sparkle. I use it when I want to add some light to my pages.

IMG_3510-vert

Next one was South Shore Sand. It’s warm light brown with no shine, cause it’s Flat Fabio. I love to accent edges with this color spray, that’s why I used it on edges of cotton tape and paper elements I used.

IMG_3514-vert

Treasure Island Aqua is brown Moon Shadow mist with amazing blue-green sparkle. It’s great to accent metal elements or paper element to make it  look like a metal one🙂 They give a look of patina on my pages.

IMG_3518-vert

In the end, I added some Cowabunga Copper accents, just in a few places. I love to sprinkle this spray all over my pages to create vintage and old look.

Mixed Media Canvas by Ekaterina Zenevich

Hello dear friends! It’s Ekaterina with you today, sharing my new mixed media canvas, created with Sprays and Magicals from Lindy’s Stamp Gang.

лин1

I started by painting the canvas with gesso and adding 2 pieces of lace.  Glue chipboard clock, cogs, flowers and other interesting elements on top of this and then paint everything white using gesso.

20

Once the gesso is dry spray with Opal Sea Oats and dry with an embossing gun.  Add some Sidewalk Chalk and Clam Bake Beige – dry with embossing gun.

15

Spray and flick the embellishments with Ponderosa Pines OliveTibetan Poppy TealHydrangea Blue – add a little water to make the color paler and dry with an embossing gun.

13

Next add a little Greased Lightnin’ Green,  Caribbean Blue and Luscious Lime to the center of the clock and dry with embossing gun.  At this point, the layers of color will really begin to start looking amazing.  The interesting patterns that you get from adding multiple layers are amazing!

9

Time to start darkening it up – add Frolic in the Forest black to the canvas edges, take the black right up to the edges of the clock embellishment, dry with an embossing gun.  You will need to add several layers of the black, drying between each one to get the depth of color I have on my canvas.  I’ve also added a little Frolic in the Forest black and Sidewalk Chalk  white over the embellishments using a brush.

7

For the final POP of intense color, add Magicals powder direct to the center of the canvas – just sprinkle it on with a paintbrush over the clock and embellishments and then spritz with water to activate.  Finish the canvas by adding some gold wax paste to highlight the texture.  You won’t believe the difference this final step makes!

Lindy’s Layout on Black – My Love

Hi Gang!  It’s nice to be here to show you a layout with lots of handmade flowers and colorful Lindy’s sprays – all coloured with the Caribbean Cruise range.

IMG_5058

I used Caribbean Cruise Flat Fabio sprays to create my flowers (with my daughters’ help).  I love how the colors look brighter against the black.

IMG_4999

I embossed some of the chipboard pieces with Lindy’s Embossing Powders in Jack O’Lantern Orange, Lapis Lazuli Blue Gold, Ghouly Goblin Green, Poppin’ Pink and Luminous Lemon.

IMG_4998

I used Caribbean Cruise Magicals to add colors to the rest of the chipboard.

Watercolor on Teabags with Magicals

Hi everyone, it’s Solange Marques here with a gorgeous and very different technique for you today using Lindy’s Stamp Gang products to create watercolor art on teabags.

I’ve used Magicals to create this artwork on a teabag.

This is how I’ve created my project:

First of all, I’ve glued the tea bags on watercolor paper using regular gel medium.

waterclor on tea bag by Solange Marques using Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals-01

I’ve stamped on the tea bags

waterclor on tea bag by Solange Marques using Lindy's Stamp Gang Magicals-02

And  I’ve used  Magicals: Rizzo’s Rowdy Red, Sandra Dee Sepia, Greased Lightnin’ Green  as a watercolor paint to add color to the stamped images.

The color may bleed a little onto the background.

Outline the image using a watercolor pen

Add Caribbean Blue and more stamps, make the blue darkest around the edges of the flowers to create depth.

This is how it looks close up.

The teabags create a really interesting textured background.

I have filmed a video to showing how you can make this, you can watch it below or on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.

Tips

  • To get a watercolor effect, you must add more water on the places where you want more light and on areas where you want greater color depth, you must use magical almost without water
  • You can get different background using others types of the tea.

Using Magicals to Create a Stunning Brush Collage

Hi Gang! It’s Yulianna Efremova here with an awesome mixed media creation.

Today I’m sharing a gorgeous brush collage colored with lots of different colors of Magicals from Lindy’s.

I’ve used Magicals from the following sets: Autumn LeavesHaunted Halloween,  Prairie WildflowerVictorian BouquetJingle Bells, and Drop Dead Diva.

13731821_1659474281043809_6340934388956879748_o

I started by adding designs using stencils, texture paste and gesso to a wooden board.

13731821_1659474267710477_2359125324839872714_o

Then I added more texture by attaching chipboard embellishments, art stones and wire wrapped brushes.

13731821_1659474271043810_1695370012477078987_o

Then I covered the whole piece with white gesso.

13731821_1659474274377143_5701915948259807080_o

To create the amazing color, I added dry Magicals powder over the piece and then sprayed with water to activate the color.  I kept adding more Magicals powder until I created this super rich and vibrant effect.

13731821_1659474277710476_7021462469942823835_o

To finish the collage and add some depth to the color, I’ve painted on some darker Magicals around the edges.

13691150_1659474567710447_1945079738925033946_o

This little bit of darker color really makes the bright colors pop.

13691150_1659474571043780_8637565539500482230_o

As the final touch, I have added some gold micro beads and some glass glitter.

Gorgeous Mixed Media Box

Hi friends!  KareenBH with you. Today I’m sharing a project that was so fun to do: a cute little mixed media box!

LSG2_1

There is no right or best way to create a mixed media project. You just have to follow your creativity and use A LOT of products haha.LSG2_2

Sometimes, more products are better for a nice texture result, sometimes, less is good too.  Each project has the potential of becoming beautiful.

LSG2_3

I used both sprays and embossing powder on this project.

LSG2_4

You can find a kraft box like this one in a dollar store for $1 or $2. It makes a beautiful and unique handmade gift.

Beautiful Stamped Elements for a Fun Canvas Creation

Hi folks! Caroline Elliam with you today to share a canvas I made with coloured stamped images with fabulous Lindy’s Stamp Gang products. I was inspired a lot by a card I’ve seen on Pinterest here but I couldn’t find the author.

I’ve chosen many gorgeous sprays, Starbursts as well as Flat Fabios to colour my stamps and some embossing powders on my embellishments and title.

13

Let’s see how I created it!

First, I took a white cardstock and sprayed water on it.

1

I chose my lighter color, Flat fabio pineapple paradise and I made some splatters on it.

2

Adding more water and splatters randomly, I blended the colours together. Here you can see that I added the Starburst Magnolia magenta gold spray.

3

I’ve added Starburst Tiffany Lou blue which is one of my favorite Lindy’s shades and Flat Fabio Hibiscus Rose.

4

Set aside and let dry or accelerate the process with your heat gun. You should have something like this at the end.

5

Now choose your favorite stamps and go ahead and stamp over your background with a permanent ink.

6

Cut out your stamps. I decided to stamp extra designs all over the cardstock to use it all up, that way I have leftovers for future layouts.

7

I’ve embossed wood feathers with Purely white before starting my canvas, this way, I’ll be ready to glue everything without stopping my creative process.

8

To start my canvas, I coated it with a thin coat of gesso first and then I put modeling paste with a stencil to add texture.

9

Once completely dry, I sprayed Starburst Tiffany Lou Blue and Starburst Magnolia Magenta Gold diluted with some sprays of water.

11

Once dry enough, I splattered clean water on top of my canvas to rub off a part of inks. I love the look it gives.

12

I added some droplets of Flat Fabio Carribean Blue and then it was time to play with my stamped images to create an harmonious piece of art.

Here’s a closer look of my canvas.

15

16

The leaves were coloured with the same technique above with Flat fabio Caribbean Blue and Starburst Bells of Ireland Green. My title was embossed with Obviously Black Powder.

14

I have filmed a video to showing how you can make this, you can watch it below on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang YouTube Channel.

Tips

  • Don’t forget to use colours that will blend nicely together or you will end up with a brown shade.
